Kayak Rentals - Affordable and Fun!

It is kayak rental season! The weather is getting nicer and it's time to get out on the river and lake! We have just what you need to get started on your day of adventure on the water for an inexpensive price!

We have inflatable kayak rentals for use for a day or multi day on the river. If floating the river is not your speed we have recreational hard shell lake kayaks for rental too. Starting in June we will be renting out Stand Up Paddleboards. Come try a SUP for a new experience on the water!

Don't miss out on getting out on the water this year! Make sure you reserve your rental early. Weekends some boats are sold out. All rentals include a life jacket and paddle.

Welcome to Kokopelli River Center! We are Ashland, Oregon's only kayak shop. Stock up for your next day on the river or lake. If it's straps or dry bags you need we have it. For colder conditions we will outfit you with a pair of waterproof gloves and neoprene socks. If you need to find your way down the Rogue River we have a book for that too.

We are the only outfitter in the area to rent Stand Up Paddle Boards, high quality Inflatable Kayaks, and Recreational Kayaks from our retail location. We have rental life jackets, paddles, splash gear, booties, and more. During our summer season we are very busy with rentals so please reserve in advance.

STAND UP PADDLING

SUP. You've heard about it but you may not have done it. Now is your chance! We rent SUPs from our shop for a half or full day. SUP is the newest form of entertainment on the water. It's relaxing, fun, and a great workout! If you're looking for something new to do Stand Up Paddling is the answer. We provide you with a board, life jacket, and paddle. Take an SUP for a day on the lake. No experience is needed. Call for reservations in advance.

Learn flat water paddling techniques and enjoy fishing and birdwatching from your kayak.

LEARN TO PADDLE A LAKE KAYAK

Because not everyone is into the thrill of whitewater, we can teach you how to paddle a sea kayak, recreational kayak, or a sit-on-top kayak. Learn to paddle on pristine high mountain lakes, calm moving water, access hidden coves, and lazy rivers. Recreational Kayaking Skills is geared to the beginner recreational boater who is interested in paddling on lakes for birdwatching, fishing, or just relaxing. Touring Kayak Skills is for those interested in learning open water rescue and basic navigation skills. No experience is required for either of these courses.

WHITEWATER KAYAKING INSTRUCTION

A whitewater kayaking lesson with Kokopelli's kayak school is a challenging and rewarding experience. We teach whitewater kayaking lessons for beginners and advanced beginners. Our instructors focus on teaching the correct kayaking techniques the first time so bad habits don't develop. Learn to kayak in a two day River Kayaking Level 1 or a multi-day campout Whitewater Kayaking Immersion. Our American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instructors help you get comfortable with kayaking basics and move forward safely for a lifetime of fun!
