Thank you for your interest in employment with Kokopelli River Center, located in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. We are a small company that offers kayak lessons, whitewater rafting trips, kayak rentals, and retail paddlesports sales. We are the only specialty kayak shop between Eugene, Oregon and Redding, California. Our busy season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day and if you are hired you will be required to be employed with us during this time.

Kayak Instructor

Seeking ACA whitewater kayak instructor to teach on the Lower Klamath River and the Rogue River. Must also be able to instruct recreational/sea kayaking on lakes. Must have a clean driving record. To apply we require a river log, proof of current Advanced First Aid and CPR and Swiftwater Rescue certification. We require for an instructor position an American Canoe Association (ACA) whitewater certification. If you need to get your ACA certification to instruct please check out the ACA website for a class near you or we can help you find one in this area.
This is a part-time job but full time employment may be obtained by working in our paddlesports shop in addition to instructing.

Retail Shop Employee

Seeking sales associate for paddlesports shop. Knowledge about paddling equipment, kayaks, rafts, and accessories is required. Duties include but not limited to: retail sales, taking reservations, equipment maintenance, guest service. Must have an outgoing personality, the ability to make others smile on the worst of days, and the desire to provide outstanding customer service.
