Gear Swap and Rescue Course

It's that time of year where we dust off our boating gear and start to hit the rivers of Southern Oregon and Northern California. It's also the time when we want to get some new paddling gear. We know you feel the same way too and you're in luck!

Our annual spring kayak and gear swap will be held on June 4th and 5th from 9am-5pm.

Shop for used whitewater kayaks, lake kayaks, inflatable kayaks, and more. This is a great way to get into paddling if you're a beginner as well as if you're a seasoned veteran. We will also have some special deals on new merchandise in the store so come check it out!

We are hosting a River Rescue Course June 10-12.

River Rescue guru, Mike Mather, will be here for his 3rd year with us teaching the ins and outs of river safety. Mike Mather is an ACA certified Swiftwater Rescue instructor trainer with over 20 years of rescue experience in West Virginia, Colorado and around the country.

In his course you will learn why a rope in the river is "an evil serpent", why is it important to act quickly, and why the best rescue is one that never happens. Mike's rescue course makes you think. His teaching style is energetic and entertaining and you will not be bored.

Rescue Class cost:
$250 reserve by June 1st
$275 after June 1st
