Most people tend to know the "Kokopelli" figure as the humpbacked flute player. He is widely known in the Hopi Indian legends. The Hopi tribe thrived in the Southwestern United States and worshipped the fertility that the rivers brought and the mischief that life is full of. Kokopelli signifies this union of life and happiness in their history, dancing and frolicking throughout legend to the song of his own music.
